Janein Murray

Qualified Behavior Analyst

Texas Licensed Behavior Analyst
Feeding Therapist

With over 18 years of military service as a single parent to a child with special needs, I bring a deeply personal and compassionate perspective to the world of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). My journey has included sitting beside my son through exploratory surgeries, working closely with occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, feeding specialists, and organizations like Easter Seals—all while navigating the uncertainty and emotional toll many families know all too well. These experiences shaped my understanding, resilience, and unwavering commitment to supporting others on their own unique paths. I know firsthand that no two stories are the same, but I strive to meet every client and family with empathy, experience, and a genuine love for learning and growth. After retiring from the military, I was reintroduced to the healthcare field while recertifying as a case manager—and that’s when I discovered ABA. It instantly resonated with me, and I’ve been immersed in the field ever since. I received my RBT certification on December 19, 2019, became a QASP-S on July 18, 2024, and earned my QBA and LBA credentials on February 23, 2025. I’m currently pursuing certification to become a feeding specialist to better serve the diverse needs of my clients.Academically, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science and a Master’s degree in Special Education with an emphasis in ABA. I’ve worked my way up through certifications and licensure, and today, I proudly lead my practice with both clinical expertise and personal insight. When I’m not attending a professional conference or tuning into the latest ABA podcast, I’m likely enjoying time with my family—and our "little zoo" at home, which includes four dogs, two cats, and a pet lizard. I’m a nature lover at heart and find joy in hiking, beach days, and being outdoors with loved ones.Whether you’re just beginning your journey or are looking for continued support, I’m here to walk alongside you—every step of the way.

Jessica Holmes (Equine Studies)

Lead Registered Behavior Therapist

My name is Jessica Holmes, my friends and family call me Jess. I have a 10-year old son named Brody,  that I absolutely adore. When I am not working, you can find me at all of my sons sporting events and/or the emergency room, as he is all boy and very active. lol My munchkin definitely keeps me on my toes. In addition to hanging out with Brody, I LOVE Mexican food, green tea and country music. Not many people know this about me, but I also use to sing. I am a BIG animal person; all rescues and I absolutely love working with children; it has been my life's work. Over the past 10 years I have been in the pre-K classroom working with children between the ages of 2-3 years old and I'd love to think that my nitch is finding new and creative ways to help littles learn. I have been working with children for almost 20 years and have found that when learning is made fun, children tend to excel. More recently in my classroom I have had the experience of being able to teach several children on the autism spectrum, which is what has drawn me to ABA. My love for children and my desire to continuously learn new ways to help them excel, regardless of diagnosis, has ignited a new spark in me to learn and implement ABA to help children become the best versions of themselves that they can be.

Krystal Bowden (BCBA Intern)

Registered Behavior Therapist

My name is Krystal Bowden, my friends call me Sheree. I am a Registered Behavior Therapist born and raised in the heart of Chicago, IL. My love for children started at an early age. Once I graduated from high school I went on to college to get my associate's degree in early childhood development. While obtaining that degree I worked as a daycare teacher where I worked with a variety of children of all ages. Upon graduating, I moved here to Texas with my mom and continued my passion for children by landing a job working as an early head start teacher, working with babies and toddlers 6 weeks to 2yrs old. During that time, I encountered plenty of children with multiple disabilities from autism to ADHD as well as several other diagnoses. While working with these children I decided to obtain my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology because I wanted to study the different psychological encounters inside the brain, we as humans go through on a day-to-day basis, from adolescence to adulthood. In addition to that, I began working in the mental health field with adolescence & adults with disabilities that were coming out the juvenile system. Working with those adolescence was a big challenge as you never knew what you were walking into. It was not until then that I discovered what ABA is and how similar it was to what I was already doing. The more I worked in the mental health field, the more knowledge I gained about children with autism, the more interested I became at wanting to help children on the spectrum. I became an RBT in 2022 and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. To be able to become the voice and reason for these children to wake up and go through life and cope with the things that are important, is an overwhelming feeling of joy. I’m now in school to obtain my masters in ABA with a passion to soon become a BCBA, adding on to the list of wonderful people that help make a difference every day in the lives of these amazing children.

Christi Weathers (BCBA Intern)

Registered Behavior Therapist

Hello, my name is Christi Weathers, my family and I have been apart from Copperas
Cove Texas for my whole life. I just married my husband last March 2024 and he is
helping me raise my grandson who I adopted in 2017. I have three grown children, one
of which has autism. I have been working with children between the ages of 6 weeks to
18 for over twenty years both in public and private schools. I have my master’s in
special educations and am currently working on master’s in applied Behavior Analysis
with the Area of Study Autism Spectrum Disorder. I went into this field because of the
passion that I have for my sons that have autism and being there voice and letting them
know they could do anything they wanted if they put their minds to it. I want other
children and parents to know the same thing. I choose to write on the Dyamond group
setting because of how I raised my autistic child who is now living on is own. As his
caregiver when he was an adult, I had to teach him how to do many things that he didn’t
know how do independently so that he was able to live in his own apartment. The first
thing that I taught him was how to be his clothes and I found this video on the steps that
show what I did to show him. When teaching him he had all his clothes in the basket,
then put them in the washer, once in the washer I bought him pod for both tide and
downy. At times he would get mad because the washer would take a long time to wash,
but I told him to breathe, and we could watch tv or do something else while we wait. He
chooses a puzzle most of the time. Once the laundry was done, I had him place it in the
dryer with dryer sheets of paper and make sure he had everything ready to go once it
was dry, hangers and basket. During this time, we talked about not all washers and
dryers are the same. I took him to a laundromat and showed him the washer and dyers
that took money, and he asked why they did, and I explained why. When he moved out
his apartment area laundromat took credit card, and he called me, and I had to walk him
through where to put the card because he didn’t know how to do it but he was able to
wash his clothes. I was super proud of him that day.
